Why Pentangle Wealth Exists

After decades in the financial industry, Dean Elliott founded Pentangle Wealth in 2023 to work one client at a time.

Many firms grow by adding more accounts and spending less time on each one. Dean built Pentangle Wealth to do the opposite. Every family gets a plan built around its own goals, a team that knows its situation, and the time it takes to get the details right.

One client at a time isn't a slogan here. It's how we decided to build the firm.

Leave No One Behind

In the Marine Corps, Dean learned a simple rule: you never leave a brother behind. Every Marine counts, and the mission isn't finished until everyone makes it home.

He brought that rule to Pentangle Wealth. No client gets forgotten, and no call goes unreturned. No account is too small to get our full attention. Whether you're just starting to build wealth or planning your legacy, you have a team that knows your name and checks in, not only when markets are rough.

It's the same discipline and attention to detail Dean learned in uniform, carried from the battlefield to your balance sheet.

That commitment doesn't stop at our office door. Pentangle Wealth proudly supports The Warrior's Refuge, a local nonprofit that serves veterans and their families from its campus in West Columbia and its Alvin location, The Rally Point. The Refuge gives homeless veterans a safe place to live, provides counseling for mental health and substance use, and offers job training and education so veterans can rebuild their lives and move forward with purpose.
